anyone else notice FTWs webpage seems to be the SLOWEST FORUM IN THE WORLD!

 

OMFG!!!!!!!!! i've got CABLE modem and i've been sitting here for 15 minutes waiting for the damn forum page to load in~!!!!
if it weren't for their galleries, and the dozen or so HD guys that haven't made the jump to nhtoc yet, i'd be done with there just cuz the fact its soooo slow!!!
they need to spend more money on speeding up the site rather than making their "speed shop" bigger and adding other features to the site.

well looks like i wont be able to see that thread until tomorrow. i was gonna post in your support, but so much for that for now

 

well after 20 minutes of load time, i finally got to the posting screen

i made a big post in there, but not sure if it went through. it keeps coming up "page can't be displayed" so i said **** it (and **** them )

 

I have some posts on the other site on this topic. I think there is a tight association with the subject product over there, however, i did not receive any negative responses from them, just a question on how I felt the "apology" should have been accomplished.

I really did not feel a real apology was offered but based on the other responses, I must have not interpreted it correctly so I agreed to let sleeping dogs lie over there.

I learn a lot a both sites and appreciate them both, It does seem to me that Intel does know his detailing stuff and I have noticed results simiiar to his on other product.

I just can't help feel that the response that included the box to return the stuff in was meant exactly as it was interpreted as.

Explaining for 25 lines why the post was made seems to me to invalidate any apology that follows.

If that thread was supposed to be worded wrong, then
the lengthy email i received from mike that evening was also
worded wrong. It basically supported his view that you
obviously disliked their product and it would be better to
put it in someone elses hands. They didn't want to waste
anymore of your time or theirs. If didn't rage on you or
anything. It just restated his position. I guess since i
called his remarks "rude and uncalled for" , it warranted a
personal email. I would imagine i was not the only one to
receive this letter. Ever thread on Adams over there there is
always someone saying the got a free sample kit. Am i the
only one that actually bought it? The weather is so bad here
i can't even try it.

By the way, I don't think it was a sincere apology. You could
see that thread was turning very negative. They are simply
doing "damage control".

 

seems like some of the people over there are actually seeing the light and posting that Intel has some good points, and Bones guy isn't "the bigger man" LoL

what a suprise that just about everybody who's gotten the kit already is super satisified with it. Greez, Tom, GE2, Mumbly, and just about all the other web/assistant web masters of the site. Ya really think they are going to say anything negative at all about the product? They'd loose the Adams products from the store, and well, duh...less money to run the site. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

That's what I said over there. All the webmasters, assistants,
and moderators got free kits and we're supposed to think
they will give it an unbiased review. Greez is keeping a low
profile over there. I think he's good friends with Adam.
Probably the smart think to do.

 

LoL, are you kidding me? The adams guys did greez's truck FOR HIM! LoL! i remember reading that in his 1st post, he was the 1st to review the adams stuff i believe. it was so sugar coated though that after that i didn't bother to read the review by GE2, or any of the other webmasters reviews cuz i knew they'd be the same way.

but yeah, do you really think the webmaster (greez) will give one slight barely even negative comment about the adams stuff when they did his entire truck for him? LoL, yeah thats totally unbias

I also read the post where they did greez's truck. But I
haven't seen a post from him in these later threads. The
ones that have given me a little entertainment at work.
The CA chapter has a dinner on Feb 22nd and I believe
Adam is going to be there. Wonder what the topic of
discussion might be. (Intel I wonder) LOL.

Thanks, and I'll do just that. However, I'm almost afraid to say anything after all the goings-on this week.

Anyhow, I think they sent me a kit because I questioned the "durability" of their products on one of the first posts about their products. I also expressed concerned about a "professional" detailing kit that included a "synthetic" wash mitt. Perhaps they thought I would prove myself wrong........ we'll see? In addition, I think Intel's initial tests (not review) pointed out a few things that I'll also want to check out.

Still, I plan on doing a fair test of their products, and let the cards fall where they will.

 

just don't wimp out and be afraid to post the slightest negative thing. lol. At the very least it'll make for some interesting reading, and we all got your back LoL!

 

Just thought I'd let you all know I'm still going to do reviews of Adam's stuff but I'm going to post them everywhere else before I post them on FTW

 

just copy and paste greez's review or one of the other guys who 1st tried it and see if they notice. LoL. they'll probably be so happy its a perfect review, they won't even notice it
