Talking Got My Prowax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy and it's bout time i get some too!!!!!!!!!!! Here's what all i bought from a distributor not too far from me

1.) 1 Gallon of C-19 Cherry Suds

2.) Clay Away 4 (ordered from factory)

3.) 1 Gallon of P-26 Clear Cut Compound

4.) 1 Gallon of P-21 Polish (ordered from factory)

5.) P-35-H Satin Creme

Now all I need now is a orbital buffer and when I get some mo mula, I'm thinking of getting the Eliminator series buffer pads as well. Can't wait till spring time!!!!!!!

Great!

With the Satin Creme make sure you put it on thinly. I've actually been mixing my Satin Creme with Fast Trak to give me a nice speed wax.

Do you have a rotary buffer? You'll need it for P-26. It uses aluminum oxide as the abrasive. It takes a lot to break it down. It is a nice compound though as it buffs out to a clear finish with no haze. You probably won't even have buffer marks from it. I use P-11 which is almost the same thing but there is 8x as much of cutting agent in it.

I love P-21. Really nice stuff!

No I do not have a rotary buffer, I suppose I should get one shouldn't I ???, lol Good friend on mines stepdad has a later Model Porter cable he used when he was detaling cars. Wonder if I can buy it off him at a reasonable price????? Yea I looked at the P-26 and it is quite thick. Smells kinda funny too. I hope I didn't regret making this investment because if all goes well i will invest in more. I am very happy with my investment and it should be well worth it, I hope, lol. Is P-11 a heavy cut cleaner????? My distributor didn't have any in stock and I can't find it in my catalog. All in all I am pleased with what I spent my last paycheck on and hopefully all will go well. Tks all

The P-26 is good stuff. I tried it but I wanted more cutting action so I went with the P-11. It just has more cutting action.

If you can get the Porter Cable, then go for it. Orbitals are great for minor polishing and for applying wax. You can really get the wax on there fast with an orbital plus they don't make the mess a rotary does. You'll still probably want to get an orbital eventually.

How often would you have to repaint the clearcoat if you used a compound on it annually????????

annually... The clear would last a long time if you did it only once a year.

Maybe even longer than that.

I know some agressive compounds take off .1 mils each time they are used. I don't think these compounds take off that much. P-11 isn't suppose to remove that much.

Only use the compound once a year to take out heavey scratches, etc. Use a polish the rest of the time.

Since I have the P-21 Polish, and still trying to negotiate getting an orbital buffer, Just clay, polish, wax twice a yr to keep the paint nice and swirls and microstraches to a minimum or none at all. Cherry suds, aw man, I could huff that **** all day long, LMAO!

You can still use those polishes by hand. You'll just get better results with a buffer and they'll work better.

Thumbs up

You just need a quart of 3M Finesse It, and rotary buffer with a flat surfaced foam pad.,,,,98

Oh, Most important of all when using a rotary buffer! Wear breathing protection!!!!! Some compounds will turn into a fine dust, and are not good for ya! IE: breathing ultra fine airborne sand.,,,,98

Good luck with the paint! I start cleaning mine up tomorrow
