For those that don't know, Ford Motor Company does all there cold weather testing in Thompson. They have facilities at the airport, rent city property in town, and have a entire lake at there disposal just out of town (at boy scout camp) Got to see test vehcles that would make the spy guys at truck trends green with envy. We got to work on some of them that their engineers could not fix. Still remember doing a evac/rechance on an experimental super car Jaguar that there test drivers ran into the ditch! GE now has there cold weather test facilities there to test jet engines.

Soo cold you beer freezes in minunites, thus the popularity of whisky!
