Looks like Calgary got scared of the looming Battle of AB and quit in game 7 to let the ducks move on, I mean they didn't even show up for the game and sadly I was even cheering for them so the Oil could knock em out.
Living in Red Deer, it is a pretty even split of Oil/Flames fans, but strangely enough, there were no Flames window flags flying today.

Honestly though, the Oilers would have stood a better chance against Calgary than San Jose, the Sharks are playing awesome right now and have been on fire since the trade deadline. Gonna be tough series.

 

Did the shames get bought off or what. P P effort.. and you saw it comming when the ducks allmost beat calgary in game 6...

I can't wait to go golfing with my buddy on Saturday morning, he is a HUGE in your face Flames fan and was quoted as the playoffs start saying "there isn't a team in the league who can take the flames in a series blah blah blah blah blah". I was quiet though cause I figured the Flames had a shot, and the Oil were gonna lose to the almighty Red Wings, time for him to eat crow big time.

 

NO, Never have been a die hard flames fan, Toronto has been ( has been ) my team, but I lost interest whith the last players strike, I watched some play off games and was hopping to see some great hockey, the flames burned up.

 

Well seeing as now one has updated this topic for a couple of rounds, i figured since the Oilers are 4 wins away from their 6th Cup i should revive it.

Yup agreed we will find out today who we go up against . I hope we go up against buffalo' from what iv herd it will be a great series . It starts up Monday and ill have my flag along with my horns ablowing but the ppl here in Edmonton are abit crazy when we win ' they end up destroying the city smashing beer bottles and weraking buildings ' to bad for that otherwise it would be a great city . I hope they bring in the army and put a stop to this maddness or just line up a bunch of ford trucks with cattle catchers on the front and move them that way!! anyhow i got my new horn set up running its an air zenith compressor mounted underneith the hood pushing air to 2 11 gallon tanks that will be feeding a nathan p3 trainhorn pretty much the 1 they have a rexall place. So its Carolina VS the Oil. I was pulling for Buffalo just cause their fans are more into it, kinda like around here, well except for the morons starting fires and smashing phone booths, but hopefully that crap is over with. Come to think of it, why are there not more chicks showing off their implants like there was on the red mile in Calgary, its no wonder the celebrations turned crazy on whyte ave, it was sexual frustration.

No unfortunatly i dont have an oil derrick but iv seen afew around here they look awsome and a really good idea at that !! as for the sexual frustration i agree there just not seeing enough tittys and acting like monkeys that have not had sex in ages! Its ashame that buffalo did not make it in there that would have been a classic match up' oh well go oil go!!!
