Question Internet e-pricing

Has anyone had any real success with the "build your car" and the internet pricing? I have been trying to get some substantial prices on a 2009 Lariat 4x4. The dealers here in Florida have been giving me the sticker price and pushing the 2008's. Only after talking to them on the phone or visiting the dealership have I got any satisfaction. A couple of email replies had glaring errors or were something existing on someone's lot.

I used both Cars.com and Ford.com, the Cars.com it is much better in that details the option codes and gives an MSRP and Dealers Invoice.

It seems they are reluctant to order and I have been told 8 to 10 weeks delivery. Given the news reports, Ford may not be building them. My guess is the economy has caused these problems.

After this experience I just may buy a Tundra.
