Your best investment if you haven't done so allready is go out and buy yourself a winch, not just any ole winch. Vendors will help you match the size and pulling power you need in a winch. I am not partial to Warn, just thought they were one of the best deals at the time I needed one. I went with a multi-mount 8000i because it was cheap, and I am only in the deep wood twice a year.

 

Just out of curiosity, did you permanently install the winch in the bed? Is it portable?
