Bed Product Logos

I'm working on a Marketing paper for school on the subject of the rapidly growing sales and future potential for bed related products in pick-ups, so I thought I'd post a note here to ask for some input from some true truck enthusiasts!

I'm focusing specifically with the logos which are readily visible in products such as bedliners, bed mats, and bed rugs. My questions include:

- how much of a factor is the actual logo displayed on the product when it comes to making your buying decision? Does it affect it at all? Would you prefer seeing no logo at all?

- do you prefer the logo of the product manufacturer to be displayed, or would you prefer seeing the make/model of your truck?

- if you prefer seeing the manufacturer related information, would you prefer seeing their name (i.e. Bedrug) or their model ("Premier") or both?

- if you prefer seeing your truck information, would you prefer seeing the manufacturers name (i.e. Ford) or the vehicle model (F-150), or the trim level (XLT, Lariat, etc), or a combination of them?

Thank you for taking the time to assist me with this assignment!

Thats why I got a Ford OEM Duraliner... has the Ford Oval and nothing more. I don't want to be an ad for some bedliner company. Plus, is covered under warranty.

Eventually, it will be moot since I am getting a toneau.

Bed logo

Well about 3 weeks ago, i say a article in truckin mag that there is a company that can do some kinds of detail. I am pretty sure it was the Vortex spray liner. The pic in the mag showed a bed with the vortex logo sprayed on the liner. They might be worth a try for what you want.
