Spray Liners
I wanted to know if any of you have heard of Permatech spray in bedliners? If so, does anyone have it in there truck? I wanted to know how they were compared to Rhino Lining.

If you're not in a hurry, send for some sample pieces and try and make a decision from that. When I was in the process of choosing I narrowed it down to a couple and then made my choice based on the samples that I got. No regrets here!
Permatech is not much different than the large horned mammal. It is a cold, low-pressure spray. It has a gloppy, cottage-cheese look. It's too soft and will cut and tear too easily.
Go with a hot, high-pressure spray such as Arma Coatings, www.armacoatings.com. That spray system nets a better looking liner with a much better control of thickness. The material is a lot tougher too.

Spray liners
Well Jd i have had a few different spray liners. And so far the permatech was the best, it has a tough finish. Now as for it looking like cottage cheese, well that is true, but not a thing will slip and slide out of it. I have had it in my 00 supercab, and i work construction, carried all kinds of stuff from concrete to lumber to pipes, and it never even got a nick. I am getting it in my new truck next week. I would look around to make sure it is what you want.
I had a Ultimate Lining sprayed in on my F-150 Super Cab back in 1999. I mainly had it done to stop the sliding around of everything. As time went on I used the truck for haluling everything from Lumber to Pallets of rock etc. The lining never tore or got damaged. I am having the same thing put in my new F-150 Super Crew as well. The best part of the coating is it is thicker than the Rhino stuff and has a tacky feel when something is left on it for a few seconds. Otherwise moving or pushing a box around the bed of the truck is just fine. Leave it in one place for a while and the box doesn't move. It was great when I had to get groceries as well. Nothing moved when I drove from the store to the house. The lining did fade somewhat over time but I also had a bed cover on which slowed this process. They also offer the UV protectant as well and I think this time I am going to have this done. I live in the Texas heat and this was a good choice. It never got that hot that you could't touch it since it was a insulator down to the metal of the bed. It usually is about a 1/4 inch thick or more when set. The company that did it donw here was called Star Customs in Austin.

I think most of the spray-ins are pretty good quality. I have a Rhino Liner because it was the only game in town at the time, plus I know the dealer and installer. They did a great job and now 5 years later I am still very happy with my Rhino. It is color-matched green and I have never regretted getting it. I would buy another without hesitation.
