I had a Rhino liner sprayed into my truck when i got it from the dealer.. Ive had the truck for almost 3 years now and have loaded the bed numerous times with mulch / railroad ties / junk that would kill a normal unlined bed. I am proud to say that i haven seen a single cut in the lining anywhere and it has held up ao well that you would think I just got it done. Rhino liner all the way.

My 2002 truck was sprayed by a ex line-x dealer. They say with a better product looks close to line-x, but can tell the differance. They were a little thin in some spots and some bed seams were not sealed over, can see ground through thru bed seam at rear. But the worst part of the whole job was it was done on a windy day, the tarp blew off the cab and now all sorts of overspray on my new truck. Detail shop got most of it off, ( clay or acid wash process) maybe both as there are some acid stains on my front bumper chrome where it was not rinsed off soon enough. I did like the real line-X job on my 2001 better.

My Rhino Liner is almost 5 years old and still looks great. I had it color-matched green to match the truck. The installer did a great job and I am very happy with it. I have not experienced any fading , however, my liner has been covered by my Roll N Lock since it was a week old. I go over the liner with Castrol Super Clean when it is dirty and then give it a coat of Rhino Shine and it looks great. I don't really see a problem with having the bed bolts sprayed over, if you use a drop-in the are covered and you have to remove the liner to get at them. Plus I think it would like funky with the bolts unsprayed, but that's just my opinion.

I went to my local Rhino dealer who talked me into going with a product called "ProLiner". Like Rhino. it is a spray- liner. Unlike Rhino, all bolts are removed before spraying, it already contains a UV protectant, and is guaranteed for 2 years not to fade. Supposedly, ProLiner is just as hard, repels scratches, and is easier to repair than Rhino when scratches do occur. They told me that ProLiner was developed by the largest Rhino dealer in the country.

In my instance, they did a fantastic job of masking, and the product went on seamless and very evenly. Very professionally done.

2years on Rino an going strong

I have t years on my Rhino Liner it it looks great.

Plaza RV in Ankeny, IA did my install and it was very very well done. No overspray and no complaints. $325 for a Supercrew.

I use simple green to clean it up once a year and it looks like new again.

I prefer the rubbery texture of the Rhino and like how it grabs and holds stuff in the bed.

Gotta cover the bed bolts

I agree that it would look dumb to have the bed bolts not covered plus you then break the "sealing" qualities of the liner and introduce rust back into the picture.

All you have to do is x-Acto around the bolts if you ever need to get them out - no bigie and it is better than a rust issue starting.

This product started out in South Africa and it was used to undercoat the chassis of Mining vehicles to protect them. Someone thought about using it to protect a truck bed and that is how Rhino was started.

RHINO !! everything.

I'm on my second straight Rhino-lined truck. Guess I got lucky with both applications, or maybe the bad installers are more widespread than not. The first was sprayed in a '94 in 1996 in Augusta, GA. The second in an '01 in Dec '01 in Thomasville, NC. Both did an outstanding job with no overspray at all - ZERO. I got the second because I was so impressed with the first. I'll get another one on my '07.

I've had my Rhino liner for a few years now with no problems.I just have one gripe....one of my body blocks came loose and i had to cut away the Rhino lining to hold the top of the bolt to tighten it.It took me 1/2 hour to cut away the liner.
But other than that it looks great.

I have a truck accessory store and I have decided to go with the Speedliner Brand spray on liner. I dont like Rhino and I think Line X and Vortex are good ones. Does anyone have a Speedliner and what do you think?

Thumbs up Rhino worked great for me

I own a small horse farm in northern Indiana and own there pick-ups, 1 F350 Centurion, 1 F150 XLT, 1 Cevy 2500. I had the Rhino Lining dealer in Lafayette, IN do all three about 6 years ago. I have had no problems with overspray, underspray, fading or chiping. I am sold on Rhino.

I had my Rhino liner put on about a year and a half ago.
It has faded to gray, but its still doing its job.
My bed bolts were sprayed over also and then peeled
off after a couple of loads. The local dealer (Truck Stuff, Cedar Rapids, IA.) did an excellent job of putting it on and have
fixed areas on the tail gate where it was gauged off.
Over all I'm very happy with it.

Thanks for the tip about the Simple Green I'll try that soon.

Well i hope yours last longer than my buddies. it is pealing off and it has only been 2 years, it started 6 months after he got it and he hauls little or nothing in it. They gave him the run around and wont fix it, I have had others get theres done in ypsi at the ziebart there and they do excellent work. I am still undecided on getting mine done yet. Good luck
