Will herculiner stick to aluminum tool box.

I have a aluminum diamond plate tool box. When you put stuff in there it moves around and gets black stuff all over the contents of the tool box.

Would the bedliner adhere to the slick aluminum if I scuffed it up a bit? Wal-Mart has the paint on bedliner in a quart. Would a quart be enough?

Not to worried about looks but would like to at least put a jacket, raincoat, or coveralls in tool box without getting black stains all over them.

What kind of prep and primer would I need to make it stick?

when i did the hurculiner. you needed to scuff up the bed( i would suggest to use sand paper and sand the **** out of it) next you needed to wipe it down with xyline(i know i spelled it wrong, but i belive that is what you need) and you can get that at like a shirwin williams but you have to ask for it. and get some heavy rubber gloves when you wipe it down. and then just put it on like it says
