Being installed today
Have had my '02 F250 for 3 weeks and it had a "factory" Ford drop in. I read most of the posts here and got some very valuable information.
First thing I did was drop the tailgate and just lifted the back of the liner (just about 3-4"). WTF! In three weeks, with nothing in it other than some bicycles, the bed is ruined. 3 WEEKS!
I went to a local Line-X installer, and they are RIPPING (I asked them to RIP that POS out) that drop-in out.
I took advice from here and tipped the installers (prep + some extra thickness on bed and side walls...already the standard is 3/8" on bed and 1/8" on walls). They are also COMPLETELY covering the truck (also great advice from here) from overspray (it was their standard anyway...but just in case).
I'll report on my expected happiness after this evening. So, for you Spray In Liner Guru's, Thank you for the advice!
P.S. 3 week old drop in Ford liner for sale. VERY Cheap!

What a great job these Line-X guys do. This is some very durable stuff! The install went great and delivered as promised. Beats that heck out of that POS drop in.
Oh, get this: the guys refused to take a tip. They did everything I asked for (extra thickness, covered entire truck...etc). Another neat thing was that during prep, they unbolted every visible bolt, prepped, sprayed, let it dry, then put the bolts back in. It really made for an excellent finished job!
I certainly recommend Line-X...done by a true Line-X shop.

6 month update
OK, Line-X 6 month update:
I've had the following in the bed:
Thats all I can think of right now. The gravel is what was going to be the big test. The guy was not necessarily smooth in dumping the load in the bed ... he didn't give a $4it.
After I unloaded and washed the bed out ... looked as good as new. I'm impressed.
