Caps, what's the best theses days?

Haven't bought a new truck cap in 19 years and will be buying a new one when I finally order a new truck.
My last two were ARE's and were pretty satisfied with them did have some issues with the locks and air shocks on both but were cheap and easy fixes and the rear hatch when up in the rain channeled water into the truck something awful, but was satisfied over all with both caps.

Live in NW Indiana and the only cap retailer near me under 35-50 miles is a real Richard head if you know what I mean. I have ARE, Jason and Snug top dealers near me but all are 35-60 miles from me. I have no idea what a new one costs but I'm betting it isn't cheap. Its not possible for me to go to each different place that sells caps to do a in person comparison so I sure could use some first hand information on what if anything makes one cap better than the other.
Anyone know if one cap is considered the best over all or best for the $$$?
I'm looking for a basic well made durable cap as I plan on holding onto the truck for 20 years. Nothing fancy just something that locks reasonably well, will last and will keep my gear sun baked bone bone dry. My hobbies revolve around hunting, fishing and recreational firearm and archery use.

I've bought two new caps but it was a long time ago. The first was in 1989 and was a Jason I think, cost under $900, and I was happy with it. The second one was a Leer bought in 2000 and it was a good one and cost over $1200. Now I think they are in the $3000 range. The one on my current 2002 is an ARE that I bought used for $300. After using it a while there were minor cracks in the fiberglass that I had repaired and painted when I got my truck painted at Maaco.
