Help me decide!

Looking at two covers to put on my 2015 F150-short box following Line-x application:

1. Fold-a-cover G4 Elite
2. Truck Gear by LINE-X folding

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

See them in person.

There is no better judgement than seeing one installed and used. We can praise the features of any product. But seeing the flaws and shortcomings is where you'll truly decide.

Look up your local dealers, call em, ask em if they have em to show you, and if any of their employees have it installed on their own vehicles. I've noticed that a shop owner will always put the best stuff on their own vehicle, even if they sell all other kinds of the same product. That tells a lot. Also, if it ain't perfect, you'll notice it.

For examples, aluminum-framed bed cap windows and tailgate glass. After seeing so many vehicles where the aluminum corners rub away at the bed over the brake lights, I'll never get that kind. And I'll never get a vinyl-n-velcro tonneau cover, because they shrink with age and stitching fails, leaving a leaky problem. And I'll never get a roll-away cover because they shrink as well and the spring mechanism gets old dirty and fails as well.

But you can't find these out, unless you go see them in person.

Thanks for the advice Bryan316. I've had a couple of different covers in the past on other trucks I've owned...vinyl roll back and retractable. There are pros and cons to all of them. I researched my new one extensively and found the Fold a Cover G4 Elite to be a solid product sold by a company with a solid reputation. I placed my order on a Monday and received the G4 Elite two days later. I will post some pics after I install the cover.

Will post pics soon. Just installed cover. I had to wait for the Line-x to be installed first.
