One man shell removal/install
My hightop camper won't fit in the garage so I couldn't use a hoist.
I built two saw horses slightly higher than the bed rails and a couple of ten foot beams.
Park the truck where I want the camper and set a saw horse on each side.
Unclamp and lift half the camper a few inches, slide in the beams.
Slide the beam until the camper is clear and drive out.
Reverse to install.

Very Kool. I would run some tie downs on the horses to the ground and the cap so the wind will not blow it over! I wish I have this when I had my cap. I may go and buy another cap and build one of these. You could use those screw archers in the ground they use for dogs cables. Drill holes in the upper 2x4's and run pins or long bolts into the horses, then clamp the cap to them. Just some added ideas.
