Would like to order a BedTred bed liner, but it looks like there is no version that is made specifically for the '09-'14 shortbed with the integrated tailgate step. See quote below from bedrug description. My question is since this is a 5 piece install, can I just leave off the tailgate part and be good to go with the bed portion? There is no attachment from the bed to the tailgate is there? Anyone try this? Thanks!

"Bed Fitment: this version of Bedrug's Bed Tred will not fit 2009 to 2014 F150s with the optional tailgate step or gate."

 

Ended up going with the Ford OEM version of the bedrug "sportliner". Much easier on the knees getting items in and out of the bed. Quick pic taken just after install topped with an Roll-x.
