Ford OEM folding tonneau cover

I've seen several of these around town lately and in my opinion they look great and seem to be very functional. I realize they are made by BAK for Ford.

I would really appreciate some feedback from those that installed specifically the Ford (branded) hard folding tonneau cover.

What do you like / dislike about it?
Would you buy it again if you had the chance?
Did you install it or did the Ford dealer?

Thanks in advance.........

I installed one yesterday. I've got tools but I'm not a mechanic and I got it on in about 30 minutes. Very easy.
I like it so far but haven't had it a day yet. As far as reviews go, just look at all the Bak Flip info. It's the same. Good luck.

I bought one on a 2013 late Fall after studying them for awhile. I installed it easily. Seems substantial. I have not noticed any leaks in rain or snow. Draining tubes by the bed are a bit annoying sometimes but no big deal. I'd buy another. Looks great. Best price I found off Amazon.

It was my understanding that the ford branded hard folding cover is made by Bak Industries (the same ones who make BakFlip covers) and the ford one is actually a rebranded G2

They do make it. Don't remember the model it is modeled off of now, but has evolved and been top of line. Supposedly there were some subtle mods for Ford. Don't recall what.

If you like the Bakflip, take a look at the Undercover Flex. Shame on Undercover for copying Bak, but Undercover improved on the Bakflip's design.

That Undercover Flex look's pretty good...wonder if anyone's got one yet?

Bump. I'm also interested about the Flex tonneau since it's much cheaper. Hope someone here have personal experience with this cover.

After looking at the undercover flex, I think I'll go with that one. It's better built and cheaper than the bakflip.
