04 Faded Trim Pieces

Hey guys, I just joined this forum recently and right off the bat knew what the first thing I wanted some advice on was. My plastic trim (fenders, bed caps, cowl, door handles, etc..) have all faded to a light grey color. I was curious about what could be done to fix this. I have already tried the trim dressings and such, which in my opinion suck, as well as other methods. I'm not looking to get new pieces, I'm just looking for a more cost-effective, and more permanent way to keep these pieces black (If possible). Any feedback will be helpful, thanks!

Paint them. I have done a few parts with krylon fusion and I plan to do my bed rails sometime soon (did my tailgate cap a few months back)

Oh ok, few questions about that. How long and well have those parts held up? And how many cans did you use?

a shop who is a member on here and posts in the care and detailing section quite often uses a stain of sorts to get them back to blac. requires masking off the paint and wearing gloves, so its a lot more permanent than back to black type things
