Bak Roll-X squeaking??

Hoping someone can provide assistance.

I recently purchased and installed a Bak Roll-x for my MY13 F150 FX4. I'm noticing a squeaking / rattling when going over rather minor bumps in the road. I checked to assure all mounting hardware for rails was tight and Roll-X tonneau was also hand tightened as much as possible.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue and know of any corrective actions I can take.

Other than the squeak I'm very happy with this purchase. Was dry as a bone in the bed after Hurricane Sandy.

TIA.

Spoke to BAK customer service. They suggested a Teflon dry lube for the rails. Purchased super-lube product and sprayed the rails. This did help a bit but squeak still occurs occasionally. I now think the squeak is coming from contact from the BAK rail and pickup box. Will disassemble after this nor easter passes and reinstall rails. Hope this fixes it as I'm running out of ideas.

is it rubbing against the cab?

The only time mine (different brand) squeaks is if it is too far forward and rubs against the cab while driving. I generally set mine so there is a good 1/2 inch gap there to make sure it is quiet.

No not rubbing on cab. I noticed one of the bed rails was off maybe 1/8" and cover was ever so slightly angled. Corrected both, took it for a short drive and all appears quiet.

Good to hear, and great thread to refer to as I am sure this comes up often.
