things getting attacked by herculiner! :)
well I started last night, my bed of my f-150 is already rhino lined, but I've got a few other things I wanted lined, but didn't feel like paying several hundred dollars to have it sprayed on, so here's the list of things getting attacked:
On my explorer -
grill and trim surrounding the headlights (finished these up last night)
Front and rear bumper (waiting on my heavy duty front bumper to herculine that, but the rear bumper is this weekends project)
Door jams (also this weekends project)
Flares
Conferr roof rack
Mirrors (the paint on the mirrors is starting to flake and they've been repainted twice)
On my F-150 -
Trailer hitch
POSSIBLY nerf bars, roll bar and brush guard (going to get a quote from line-x and rhino lining first since those would probably look better...)
Possibly herculining exposed parts of frame through wheel wells, it'd be a unique mod
.
So far I like the product a lot, I just wish I could get it "smoother" but couldn't find any tips on how to do so. But it seems pretty tough and I doubt it will start being flaky like the duplicolor I originally used The only thing is it is messy. i am doing it in the weeds in my back yard so all the drips don't hurt too much, but it gets all over you and if you get it on your skin, GET IF OFF IMMEDIATELY!!! I've got some on my thumb and even some in my hair (don't ask how that happened LOL) I think I'm just stuck with it now for a few weeks til a new layer of skin grows in.

Just be sure to keep it off your Hootus.... As I'm sure Gerald can tell you all about! Learn by his example, right?

How did the hitch turn out? Could I see some pix... I want to have them Line-x mine before winter...
