Line-x and ARE
Line-x and ARE
I don't haul much of anything except my mountain bikes so i decided to go with the line-x and it looks great. As far as tonneau covers go, i personally think the ARE LSII are the nicest ones out there. I just ordered mine last friday, it should be here in about a week or so. As far as price, they run about 760.00 up in WA state. I send alot of business to the local ARE dealer so i got a good deal on it.
Line-x and ARE
I had the Line-X sprayed (black- $379). Even though they told me they would take them out, Line-x sprayed right over the 2 plastic hole covers on the front wall of the bed. When I asked about it, the manager told me those holes have no real use (used only during building) and most people want them sprayed over. Does anyone know if that's true?
I have ordered, but not yet received, the ARE LSII in Dark Highland Green. I didn't check them all out, but I liked the LSII best of all the ones I looked at.

Maybe next time I'll just pull the front end up on the sidewalk... that might be enough to get it to drain.
Back to the subject at hand... I can't think of a practical use for those plugs, however I don't believe they are used in the assembly process for anything special. I think they're just there "just in case"
