Perhaps, but I don't like the looks of the ARE and I wanted a cover that was easy to take on and off, so fiberglass covers were out of the question for me. Every cover has its pros and cons, and some things bug potential owners more than others, but for me the convenience and sleek look of the UnderCover won over a little black showing on the leading edge.

As 05supercrew mentioned, when you lock the cover down it prevents the tailgate from being opened. It is a nice feature IMO, and if you want even more security, you can also lock the tailgate.

Let me know if you want more specific pictures.

No! I appreciate the answer. My Plat/Adobe King Ranch will be here on the 20th. My Off-Road firm will be spraying the bed liner, installing the cover, & adding Bed Lighting under each bed rail. Can't wait, even tho I waited almost 9 wks for my '11 Plat. Ltd. Explorer in Feb thru Apr of '11.
