how do i remove em>?

i have a 2002 f150 how do i get the bed rails(plastic ones) off my truck>? i dont want to break them

There are clips underneath the rails that you have to compress to release them. You can use pliers or a flathead scredriver. Just know that you probably will break a few of these clips since they get pretty brittle over time.

i figure i would break some lol. like when i took the front vanance off. im hoping to paint the rails flat black

When i went to paint mine, I started to take them off but the first two clips broke so i just said screw it. I got a roll of blue painters tape and a big sheet of painters plastic and masked everything off then just sprayed them while still on the truck.

I tried the same thing and broke them to hell. I said screw it and ripped them off and bought some SS caps that replace them. Look a lot better
