I bought a set from Recon. Wired them directly to the battery and then installed a switch at tailgate so when I drop the gate the lights come on. The light system is weatherproof and installs with 3m tape. LIttle expensive though for what they are.

Im looking at options to do the same, 04 SCREW. Im trying to decide whether to do the set up myself or a buy a pre fabbed one. Theres places like oznium.com that sell the leds, or led strips.
I see it throws light right under the rails, but how much light makes it to the middle of the bed?

That's a great link, do you have these installed in your truck? Just wondering if the 1 light system is enough, or would you recommend the 2 LED system.

I just tucked them up under the rails for that pick but since then I pullled them down a little and put them on about a 15 degree angle so they are aimed more to the center. Lot's of light.

TruckCoversUSA makes bedlights that can be hooked up to an optional battery pack/holder or you can wire it directly.

I have 4 Oznium surface mount LED bars under my bed rails tied to a switch in the cab and then wired thru the firewall to the battery.

Easy to install and lights up entire bed at night. Pictures in my gallery. If you decide to go with oznium let me know, I can get you a discount.
