i just bought me a 06 f150 and it came with a bed rug in it. i live on a gravel road and work on a farm so there will be tons of dust along with oil, mud, grease and other things but those are the ones im worried about. does the stuff wash out or should i sell it before i ruin it?

Love my bedrug!!! Bedrugs are fine to use without a tonneau. They are designed to withstand the elements.

It will be fine. Just wash it occasionally.

I watched the video how the bedrug was installed and it seems like water could get under the bed rug.

Shouldn't be much problem getting it clean. You can just pressure wash them off. Use an approved solvent for carpet if some "cutting" power is needed. Feel free to pull it out and let it dry if you're worried about rust. I love mine.

Well I have never used any solvent to clean grease off of my bedrug, but you can clean most off just by pressure washing so a solvent should increase the cleaning power by quite a bit. People pull there carpet out of their truck and power wash them off with solvents and get grease off of them. A bedrug will clean easier than that.

I guess i wouldn't be too worried about cleanliness if it were me. Besides, how hard is it to throw down a tarp if you have something really messy to haul?
