I'm interested in a folding tonneau cover, but need to have access to the bed regularly for tall objects. I can't seem to find out which tonneaus will fold all the way back to the rear window - allowing full access to the bed. The ones I'm currently looking at are:

- Tonnopro
- Lund Genesis Tri Fold
- Extang Trifecta

Can someone tell me if these all fold back completely? It's a 2010 F150 5.5' bed, if it matters...

The Trifecta does not fold all the way to the back window, however, it is easy remove and reinstall without tools.

 

The Bakflip G2 or HD will fold all the way back to the back window allowing access to the entire bed. Obviously though, you will have no view out the back glass. I went with the Fold A COver G4 Elite which will allow access to about 85% of the bed. Check it out at www.foldacover.com

 

Question for you do you have to drill holes in the tailgate for the lock even if you have a locking tailgate? Or do you have to drill any holes in the bed?
