I live in ny and did this on my old 1998 gmc 1500 like 10 years ago.. DONT DO IT!!! The salt and stuff from the roads in the winter time makes them impossible to clean and then they look like total crap in the end!!!!

It looks sic right out of the box, but the winter ruins them badly, trust me.
