Need help with a tailgate protector

Ive got a 2004 "new" body stule 8 ft bed and already have an allstar bedliner, but I need the tailgate cover-anyone have any idea where I might find one. I've been searching online-ebay etc, but cant find one. Can't come across one in a junkyard so far

Same quest

I feel your pain. I bought an Ford bed mat as I am having a Leer cap being made that I will be installing shortly. I saw no need to linex the back, but have nothing to protect the inside of the tailgate when it is down and crap is being stuffed/unstuffed from the back. I think that installing a piece of plywood would look like crap.

I need something that looks similar to the rubber bed mat but stiff enough where it wont flop around when the tailgate is up.

Did you pick something yet?

Why not just get it sprayed in or get a small DIY roll-on bedliner?

You could always get a piece of rubber and fix it to the tailgate using the appropriate fasteners

Was able to buy a pretty nice drop in bed liner from a local truck parts shop just for the tail gate and it used the existing bolts on my gate. $44 after tax.
