Bed liner Hardware question

I bought my bedliner from an individual & he didn't have the hardware for the tailgate.

Where can I get this hardware without having to buy the whole tailgate cover+hardware fro mthe dealer?

You talking about a plastic drop-in bedliner?

Yes a drop in bedliner, the tailgate portion to be more specific. Sorry I didn't say drop in because I guess I figured Spray in's don't use hardware.

I think your asking about the longer bolts for the tailgate cover? They are slightly longer bolts. I would check with the dealer, they may have some laying around. My dealer puts bedliner's in almost every new truck on the lot - I asked for the original bolts back since the liner bolts don't sit flush when you take the tailgate cover off (which I had to do to get my tonneau cover on.

Thanks, I called three dealers & they all said you have to buy the tailgate liner to get the hardware not seperate. No help there!

I found some at a Lowe's that will work I think, I'll try it tonight. So THERE! to the greedy dealers!

The bolts used for the tailgate cover are threaded the same of course but have a larger diameter bolt head up from the threads. You might have to retrofit some type of sleeve or stack some galvanized washers.
