Yes, that is DeeZee. They were the only ones I could find with all my requirements: low profile lid, black diamond plate and only $300 on Amazon. i will say that the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It literally is only the cardboard box...no packaging at all. I had a couple scraped conrners but all in all it is a great product.

If you want a DeeZee, check out tractor supply company. That's what their toolboxes are.

I just use 2 strips of double sided tape on each side of the bed rail. My box is loaded down and has never budged.

^^ That looks sweet in all but honestly how the hell can you see through that? If you need that much protection in the back then how come the whole truck aint armor plated? Either that or you just need a $h!t-load of protection from your girlfriends' dad as your driving away.....which I guess is understandable.

haha, actually i'm married. but no when i got it i was working construction and with the stubby bed hauling a ladder is much easier when you can lean it against the cab ans when i had my quad i parked the front end on top of the box and could shut my tailgate, its honestly not bad to see out of really.

Looks nice! Do you know what model it is or approximately how wide it is (from the back of cab out, i.e. how much bed space does it take up)? Looking for something just like that but fairly slim hopefully.

Once my tax return comes in I will be getting a Highway Products Silverback toolbox in my truck. One of the, if not the best toolbox manufactures out there. The are local to me, so I'll be going factory direct and getting some custom options added. The only other manufacturer that compares in my opinion is ProTech. I'll post pictures here in a month or so hopefully.

I have one too, and I also have the same issue as you, where the passenger side of the box doesn't seem to fully close. It locks shut, but it doesn't close square to the box.

Poor engineering on a simple box/lid isn't a great product imo.
But the price was right, so I guess we got what we paid for.

I don't have the slim like yours, but it shuts just as crooked. lol
