Ultimate Linings???

Anybody ever heard of them? Any reviews. It' the only spray on liner I can find locally. I got a quote from Lin-X at 505 + tax and 45 minutes away. Seems a bit inflated to me. Still waiting for a reply from the Ult. Liner guy but I'm willing to bet he will be a lot cheaper than that.

Friend of mine just had that put in his 2010 F150. It was recommended by the dealership. I bought my truck at the same dealership a year ago and they were recommending Line-X at that time. I had a Line-X in my last truck so I went with it again. I guess the dealership had issues in the past with warranty claims on the Line-X so they starting recommending Ultimate instead.

The price you were quoted for Line-X is real close to what they charge here.

You know I have!

Ultimate and Xtreme merged a few years ago. Don't get any of their low pressure products. If you HAVE to go with them, get Xtreme HP. If you can't get that, keep shopping.

LINE-X has a better warranty then Ultimate/Xtreme.

From my experience, most (but not all) auto dealerships that have a choice will buy the least expensive spray-on bedliner in order to maximize their profit. What they sell you is in THEIR interest, not necessarily your interest.

You need to shop around some more. Get the Ultimate quote then go back to Line-x and see if they will beat or at least match the price. I just had my 6.5' bed Line-x'ed 2 days ago for $375 + tax.

From what I've read on this and other sites, Lin-x seems to be the better product. And believe me thats the way we wanted to go. Maybe worth the trip south of the border for a day to get the right price?
