Restoring Black Bed Caps?

I bought a 2005 single cab f-150 today used, and the black plastic things on top of the bed and tailgate are extremely faded. Is there anyway I can restore these to their original color by painting them or something? and if there is please tell me what to use

I did it on my bumper plastic and step sides, worked perfect.
