I just purchased a 2001 f150 extended cab with a 68"x 79" box & would like to put a cap on it as I am a cabnet maker and need to shelter tools & materials. Can any one tell me what years or styles will fit this truck.

Anything from 1997 to 2003 will fit your truck. Do you have a styleside or flareside?

 

Actually, you will need to find a cap that is made to fit an extended cab 1997-2003 (or the 2004 Heritage model). The regular cab F150's have a different shape to the back of the cab when compared to an extended cab.
