Bak Rubber parts

Does anyone have any long-term experience with these parts? I really like the concept of the Bakflip HD, but I'm concerned that the rubber parts will get dry and hard in the Texas sun over time. I kept my last car 9 years and I'd hate to have to replace the top before I replaced the truck.

I don't think the HD has been out that long, I've had mine just over 1 year now and the seals are fine so far, but I don't live in Texas. The G2 has been out longer but its design was revised once or twice so I'm not sure about its old seals. You can also apply a good protectant to them like 303, not armor all. If you want a hookup on buying a Bakflip, just email me directly through my profile for the details.
