Super Liner?
Super Liner?
First post, and first time truck owner. Got 2010 Screw a month back. Dealer installed Superliner after we found scratches in bed. Doesn't look like it has very good coverage and I'm wondering if others have had experience with this type of liner. Line-X and Rhino were not an option... Thanks!
Superliner was started by ex-Speedliner employees. They are similiar products.
Superliner is solvent based (unlike LINE-X and Rhino). It's very similiar to paint: It goes on with a brush, roller, or hopper gun. It takes several hours to dry and about 72 hours to cure. It's has good UV resistance. While the solvent is still present, it's extremely dangerous. The solvent is ethyl acetate and the vapors are literally explosive. After the it cures though, there is no danger. Solvent based bedliners are typically fairly thin.

Thanks for the info TruckG. I wasn't sure what it was as I found out the name after it was installed. (They installed it as a concession for several scratches in the bed, and there appears to be no Line-X dealer in the area (100+ miles).) It generally looks and feels good, but it does not appear to have full coverage on the upper portions of the bed. I really don't have anything to compare it to, but I can see it's not totally covered. I guess we'll see how things go. Thanks again...
