Line-X with Xtra

I got Line-X with Xtra installed in my truck today. Here is a picture I took with my iPhone.

What does the Xtra do, provide additional protection?

Xtra prevents fading and is stronger because it is fortified with dupont kevlar if I remember right.

But if you have a warranty, then it's okay if it fades?

If you have a warranty it should be covered if I remember right. I have the warranty info in my file cabinet at home so I'll look it up later unless someone else gets to it before i get home this weekend.

Get the Xtra. It turns it into a whole different bed liner. You will not regret it. I got to see with Xtra and without and there is a difference. The liner itself feels and looks like a normal liner. The Xtra makes it extremely tough. The one I saw was 7 years old and looked better than any 7 year old liner I have ever seen. If you have ever cleaned a chimney out you will know that creosote is very black and its made of tiny shiny crystals. That is what the xtra does for the bed, it makes it very black and very sparkly. I will try to get a better picture of mine if the sun will ever come back up. Lol

Fading is not included in the warranty with or without Xtra. Standard LINE-X will fade. Xtra will fade about as fast at your truck's paint. So, how long does it take before you can visually see fading in your truck's paint?

Keep in mind that your truck's warranty does not cover fading either!
