I thought this had been discussed somewhere before, but I cannot find the thread. What is the difference in the beds on an 08 and 09. I found an 08 Leer top and have an 09 SCrew, with 5.5 bed. Is the tailgate flair the only difference? Has anyone tried this you?

yes, the tailgate lip or flair is the main difference, the 09 is wider. So any type of hard tonneau or a cap/shell/topper from 04-08 that wraps over the tailgate lip will not work on the 09-up.

 

Not really related to the bed covers or bed caps, but a related question to the bed size difference. I have a bed mat in my '05, can I use the same mat in a 09-10 truck?
