Question Flip-Pac Camper Shell

My wife and I enjoy camping, so I'm considering a Flip-Pac camper shell for my shortbed XLT. Anyone have experience, feedback?

Are you looking just for a camper shell, or a True camper or a tow behind..

For a true camper, check out panther campers, they are made in Vancouver, wa.
check out Camp inn, for A teardrop trailer (super cool) imho. their website is Tinycamper.com

Actually, our "base camp" is a 19' TT, but we may choose to overnight on a 4WD trail. The Flip-Pac would also act as a place for our son or friends to sleep when we camp. Easy set-up, take-down, and doubles as a camper shell.

When I talked to the People at Flip pac, they where very Pushy, ( like a used car salesman ). And all I wanted was a Catalog.

They Never Did send me a catalog, and they where a bit squirrely about they price too.
Neat concept thou.

Hey guys and gals: I have a 2014 built Flip-Pac for sale. It was made for me by the guys at FRP in Riverside, who apparently held the patent for Flip-Pac's and it was where they were made. I say "was" made because FRP Riverside is now closed ... and new Flip-Pac's, and their parts are now unobtainable. I have installed extra goodies like "Windoors" on both sides for easy gear access, 2 lights with wiring harness set up for portable battery, steel rail-mounts for surfboard/kayak/luggage rack.

I'm selling my Flip-Pac because it doesn't fit my recently-purchased 2006 F-350 SuperDuty. The F-150 the Flip-Pac is mounted on is spoken for, but not the camper.

This Flip-Pac is in perfect condition. It has been seam-sealed for extra-dry conditions in rainy weather. It is used 3 to 5 times a year, so it's frequently opened, cleaned, and properly closed/stored in immaculate condition. (As you can see by the photo of this 20-year old truck, I take good care of my gear.) I have additional photos I can email to you. I'm in San Diego, CA.

(Note: fits 6.5' bed, 1996 to 2002 F-150's. Also, "TAJ-MA-HAUL" was what I named it. You can remove that stencile, and all window stickers.)

Interested parties can email me at L8AAPEX@gmail.com, or PM me on this forum. Asking $5,500.00/O.B.O.

Cheers!
