looking for information about a cover.

Hello,

I am looking for some information about a cover for my bed. I have a 2010 F-250 and would require a cover that has easy access to the bed. I need full access as I carry snowmobiles and dirt bikes. I live in NH, which gets a considerable about of cold and snow, so it needs to operate well in these types of conditions. Keeping dry is pretty important, although some water in the bed is okay.

I like the design and looks of the backfip, but am curious about a couple things. One, when you flip it all the way up, does it rub against the truck? I would think that this would cause damage. How is it driving down the road with it flipped up all the way? What supports the cover if you only flip it half way and want to drive. Looks to me like wind would get under it and lift it up. Will the rubber hinges work in the cold, or will they freeze up?

Another option would be one of the roll up type, but I think they will take up too much room and make it difficult to load my bikes and snowmobile. These also look like they will not work well in the snow and cold. Any opinions on this?

Any input is appreciated.

The Bakflip has bumpers that guard the cab. You won't be able to see out your back window.

A roll up vinyl cover will work. Such as Access Cover.

A couple others to consider are the Extang Trifecta and Extang Solid Fold. You can completely take those off your truck and put them in the back seat in less than 60 seconds. But, the seal on the Solid Fold is not very beefy, you might get some water leakage.
