I made up my mind on a Bak Flip but the manufacturer is in a model change the new 2009 HD was supposed to be unveiled at the 2009 Sema show but I have not seen it on the website anybody have any inside scoop?

The new top of the line BakFlip that they announced at SEMA is called the F1. It looks like they may be phasing out the HD and beefing up the G2 to the old HD specs. I bought an F1 and the UPS guy delivered it yesterday. I'll post pics after I install it next weekend.

 

just call the place I referred to you. I know piranha bought his F1 from him as well. if anyone is interested, just email me for the details.

 

I talked to the guys at BAK before Sema they said they were adding some bells and whistled to the HD and offering 3 it is hard to get a straight answer out of them thanks for the reply and let me know how you like the F1 I will probably get one of those instead of the new G2.

 

I talked to Maury before Sema I really didn't like how he was saying he was upgrading the G2 to an HD at no extra charge really it was the new G2 so he really wasn't upgrading anything he told me I was getting an HD but in a G2 box sounds kind of fishy to me.

 

the new G2 is basically the old HD and he was giving you a 2 year warranty as well like the HD has. usually the G2 has a 1 year warranty. Several people jumped on that deal, nothing fishy about it???
