I understand why Truxedo has no issue sending free replacement tarps

Truxedo sent me a free Lo Pro tarp because my old one was getting wrinkles at the rear header.

Man, getting the front and rear headers off the old tarp and on to the new was a HUGE pain in the ***. I definitely never want to have to do that again. Just venting.

Hey 2008_XL

I was going to post in your other thread, but I saw this one. I believe I have the same problem you had with your original tarp.

I have had my bed cover from about 2 months. It is also a Truxedo. I have the "waves" in the cover too. See pics below (I had just stretched out the tarp before the pics)...

Is this a known defect to them? Did you just call customer service and they sent you a new tarp? How is the new tarp doing at this point?

May have to call customer service soon......

RedSTXMan,

Mine was doing the EXACT same thing. It is a known defect, however, they said it's rare and do not have any idea why it happens.

Yep, I called their customer service, they gave me an email to send pics to. At that point thy sent me a brand new tarp. Looks great.

As I said, it's not easy to get on. But it's worth it.

Definitely call them. They will replace your tarp.
