Keeping a Bedliner Shiny... How?

Any ideas how to keep a spray-in bedliner shiny and new-looking? Are there any products out there specifically for this?

Thanks.

If it's a Line-X, they have a coating they can put on it that apparently protects it from UV damage, etc. I can't remember what it's called, and their web site is screwy at the moment.

What brand of bedliner do you have?

I think he already has a spray-on. I'll go ahead and answer his question. You have a couple of options, this applies to any brand of spray-on bedliner.

1. Clean the bedliner with automotive soap, scrub it with a stiff brush, rinse and let it dry. Apply either 303 Aerospace of Just Once (justonce.com). You will need to apply the conditioner two or three times a year.
2. Go to a LINE-X dealer and get LINE-X ReNew (which won a SEMA award last year). The patented ReNew process includes the use of LINE-X Xtra which is fade resistant and glossy. It's a one-time application, the bedliner will be black and glossy and will stay that way, you will never have to do anything to it except wash it.

Yes, they do. It's fairly nasty stuff and you will need to apply it about once a year.

For my DualLiner I scrubbed with a brush and car was soap (gold class) and sprayed it with hyperdressing. I wiped as much of the hyperdressing off the mat as possible so it was not slick.

It is a little over a year old and was starting to look a little rough, after that it looked better than new.

I do what truckgasm suggests...then again, he did shoot my truck with Xtra...!! Glad I did it. Still looks as good as it did the day it was shot. So does my truck box.

Thanks David!

Wash with a brush and spray a light coat of 303 protectant on the liner. Will keep any plastic liner or spray on liner looking new as well as the rubber and plastic trim on the rest of your truck. I had a 1999 F150. When I sold it the plastic trim still looked new after 10 years.
