Undercover Swing Case
Undercover Swing Case
Have any of you seen this yet? Looks like a nice, (though smaller) alternative to the classic bed tool box.

Less costly version at Costco

I think they are cool, and I am considering one cause I can't get to my toolchest anymore with my hard tonneau installed. Due to my subs I have to store my jack and some other stuff in the back.

Good find. Thanks as this may make my decision to get one easier.
I've seen these in the Sky Mall catalog as well. I like them but IMHO even $140 is too expensive for what they are. They don't look like much more than a blow-molded case with metal bracket and hinge. Or am I mistaken about the construction quality?
I guess it depends what your using it for. I hav'ent seen one in person yet, but besides a jack some wax and a shop rag, I'm not planning on putting much in it. I certainly would'nt load it down with heavy tools, I would think it works better for a banker than a construction worker.
We've sold a few Swing Cases. They're OK, but a little pricey. People seem to like them.
I have not seen the Costco version but the Costco version is not model specific like the Swing Case. So, I'm guessing that the Swing Case might fit your truck better and because of that, perhaps give you more storage room. Also, the Swing Case is available in left or right (or both) mounting while the Costco version is left only.
