Armor lid or Undercover

I had an Undercover on my 2001 Screw. Now I have a 2008 Screw. I'm thinking of doing the same thing, maybe with a Bedrug this time. Is there any difference between the Armor Lid and the Undercover which would help me decide which one to go with?

It's too late now, but could I have kept the Undercover and rubber mat from my o1 to put on my 08?

The Armor Lid costs less than Undercover but it's not as sturdy as an Undercover. Undercover has a patent on the underside's design which makes the cover less flimsy.

I have put both of them on trucks haven't noticed the Armor lid being any less sturdy. It is a little thicker and has a rougher texture but it doesn't fit nearly as well as the Undercover. For the difference in price get the Undercover it looks and fits so much nicer it is worth the extra.

I have only done a few of the Armors, haven't noticed anything much other than the shocks aren't as strong and seems the clamps don't hold as well and the brackets slide.

I've had the Armorlid for about 5 months now and had no problems. As far as it being less sturdy I climb up on mine to clean the roof of the truck and it doesnt bow at all.
