Tonneau question

Does anyone know if a cover off an 01 Ram short bed will fit an 06 6.5 bed

Would not do it...Some of the Ram may have rubbed off on it, and your Fors may not love you back.

if im not mistaken the dodge is just a little thinner at the top of the bed

but the best thing to do would be to drag out the old tape measure

ram is a 5ft bed i believe

i mean with a hammer,drill, and saw you can make anything fit

Thanks. I measured both beds ,it looks close. I'll just have to try to mount it. The new style rams are 5.5, i'm takeing it off an 01 which measures about 6.5

Not sure about your 06 but my cover from my 97 dodge ram short bed fit my 03 F-150 short bed.

there is no way my 01 ram is 6.5 long

i got a quad cab short bed, what you taking it off of?
