Hi guys, i have a 2006 SCrew and i need a Hard cover (Not a lid though) i kinda like how the Solid Fold looks, i need easy access to the bed but i'm trying to find out if it can be locked thru the tailgate or does it need some other accesory, thanx for your help.

 

was going to get one for my truck.. but they don't make a longbed version.

awesome product... i have seen it installed and imo its amazing.

it can only be opened when your tailgate is down.... thus you can lock it if your tailgate has a lock. installed exactly the same as the trifold in minutes... the solid fold is pretty heavy though.

i'd have it if only they made a longbed version.. booo

How do you like the cover? Any pics?

 

Solid Cover is the best hard cover out there, hands down. We're installing one on a short box GMC tomorrow. I dont' know when you looked but they do have a solid fold for long boxes now.

 

Sorry the truck and the cover are kinda dirty but i just came back from an Airshow so it picked up some dust, i'll clean it up later but here's some pictures to give you and idea of how it looks like, i think it's great, i did not want to go with a all-solid cover or a weak vinyl top, i just need to get a tailgate seal to prevent from dust getting into the bed:
