Help-FAST, Color Matched or Black

Getting my line-X on Tuesday

(Per this thread)
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=306233

I am torn on getting colored matched. Any suggestions? Before you post...please consider that I keep my 5th Wheel Hitch in my truck a lot. Its all black.

My colors choices are
Dark Copper
Arizona Beige, trim color
Black

I think I am sold on the black due to the hitch but those colors look sweet.

Thanks

JP

I would vote Black.

Next would be Arizona Beige. I don't think the copper would make for a good bed liner color...

Thanks guys...yeah that was fast. I am getting her shot up in the morning, so I was just trying to decide on those colors.

But I think I am going with good ol black with the Line-X Xtra sprayed on top with a few KR logos in the bed. Gotta be there at 8:30 and its a long drive

I did see one recently with AB sprayed in it and it looked great but I think my 5th wheel hitch being black will look goofy sitting in there all the time.

Sitting here at LineX of West Forth Worth, they are really great here.

Threw a sample of Arizona Beige in the truck bed and it sure did look nice but i am going with black.

hah... my truck is black, so my spray in is good from either perspective. but, i also gotta deal w/ all the damn swirls, scratches, etc that show up on a sunny day. seriously tho, i would go with color matched, it looks really sweet, and looks more "natural" in my opinion. in regards to your 5th wheel being black, most of us don't paint our frame hitches, tow hooks, etc to match our paint, do we? honestly, i don't think it would be an issue at all with the 5th wheel being black, RR.

The long wait is over....and thank GOD too b/c this liner has been a PITA.

I wanted to say what an incredible job Line-X of West Fort Worth did today. They took so much care with my truck. I got to spend a long time with David and Lisa the owners. They were fantastic, and they even bought me lunch (I think the felt sorry for me)

I had a few logos sprayed in and waiting on pics from them. They prep job was impressive and more impressive was how it looks.

It was a long day, the hitch folks spent hours working on my rails as I found out the first hitch company installed my hitch the wrong way....consider myself lucky.

Pics soon,

JP

EDIT

I couldn't help it, ran out to the garage and snapped a few in the dark, cannot really tell but this looks great

All I can say is WOW! I love the logo's in the liner, they look outstanding. Man RR I'm sorry that your having such bad luck when it comes too things relating too your truck bed. First the crap liner, now you find out your 5th wheel hitch was fubar, you are really lucky though that nothing whent wrong while towing. Anyway, I wanted to say that your truck looks sweet, and now has an even more awesome look!

The logos look great!!

I had the same experience with my Line X dealer as far as it taking several more hours than they told me originally.. And I DID get the Xtra colormatch.. I was only the 2nd colormatch they'd done, said they took more time to make sure they got it right.. they did... lol

You're gonna get so many compliments from strangers who see it.. I still do..

Looks good, JP.

On second thought, the beige would've provided a good contrast between the bed and the hitch. Would've given you a good excuse to keep the hitch all nice and shiny and scratch-free... wait, you probably do that anyway.

Just funnin' with ya.

On a serious note, do the Line-X folks keep a vast assortment of pigments on hand to do the color match? Maybe that is better answered by TruckGasm.

On another serious note (TruckGasm), can the logos be sprayed on with a different color?
