Line-x applications

Has anyone had their door sills done in line-x?
My truck came with a sill protector on the drivers door only and I was thinking of havine all 4 door sills done.
what do you think? Possibility of them trashing my interior is my main concern.

If you are not gonna get the floors line-xed, your door sills will look out of place.

They can match my paint, the bed is already done.
Why would I get the floors done? My carpet is fine and the weathertechs look great.
I'm talking about your door sill, the part of the body that is exposed when you open your door. (they get pretty trashed when people drag their boots when entering the truck.)
Mine came with a stick on protector about 12"-14" long, I wanted to take it off and do the rest of the door sills in line-x.

Actually, I think that's not a bad idea at all.. and I can tell you that Line X can match your color exactly.. my bed is done with Xtra and they matched my color perfectly..

Hopefully Truckgasm will chime in with what that might cost.. not too terrible I'd think...

Oh, wait.. they already did your bed... so you know.. LOL..

Yeah, I'm just worried about the interior and the door panel, but I guess if the tape it off real well, I should have no worries. (I'm also a little concerned if the door opening and closing will tear up the doors seal)
They did the top of the fender wells on my boat trailer (I'm actually thinking of having my boats floor done with it as well.)
The line-x guy I deal with is willing to give anything a go and has a real meticulous crew, so we'll se here in a few days.

Yeah, if anyone here has experiance with off the wall aplications please, chime in!!!

I'm pretty sure Truckgasm has done sills.. He's a Line X dealer in the D/FW area.. I've seen pics of his work on lots of stuff other than beds..

I'm sure he can answer any questions about wear on the sills.. I still think it's a good idea!

Oh yea, we've done sills. They are a royal pain in the rear and probably not cost effective if you are not have other LINE-X work done to your truck. Keep in mind that the ENTIRE truck has to be covered and the interior completely sealed in order to spray the sills. I have a pick of that somewhere....I'll see if I can find it.

I had mine done since I was having an issue with the drivers door rubbing the paint off of the sill plate.

I did most of the prep work myself, just took it to the Line-x guys and they sprayed em both for about $100.

These are the pics I took.
