box cover with box rails

I am looking to get a box cover here for my 2000 ex cab s/b styleside, in the not so distant future and am unsure of what to get as I would like to keep the box rails I have on the truck right now in there current location. There is approx 1/2 an inch between the edge of the box rails and the where it drops off into the box, but I could squeeze out another 1/4 inch if need be by grinding down the edge of the plates that the box rails are sitting on. I'm not to keen on the pace edwards because of the $1000+ price tag on it. Who has a box cover and box rails that could point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your help

Depends on what type of cover you want to go wiith. If you are wantin a hard cover you have only a few options. The Pace Edwards/Roll-n-loc styles that are all around the same price range or the Bak Flip which I sell here for $659.00 installed. Then you can go with a variety of soft covers the best choices coming from Extang (R/T cover) and Agri-Cover (any style) with these starting around $230. Another option is to go fiberglass painted and put the bedrails on the lid after you install it.
