I got my Line-X Xtra sprayed in yesterday.
I was up in Ft. Worth to take my kids to the Richard Petty Driving Experience (actually to get my bed liner but they'll never know). We drove up through torrential rains on Friday so I was worried that both things would get canceled.
The weather cleared by Friday evening and when we got up Saturday it was only cloudy. I took my kids (ages 19 & 16) to the Texas Motor Speedway about 6:45 am so we could be first in line. We were but others soon followed. This was a surprise for my son. He didn't have a clue we were going to do anything except give a quick glance at the speedway and move on.
They did the ride along program which was 3 laps at 150mph+ with a professional driver (they actually hit 165mph). They got to ride in the same group of three cars and it was something watching your kids fly by at 165mph. Of course my wife told me that they do that when riding with her anytime.
After that I called David at Line-X of West Ft. Worth. The weather report showed that we would be driving through some real nasty weather on the way home and I was concerned about what it would do to a new spray in bedliner. He told me that when they got done they could cover it in some heavy duty plastic to keep it dry. I decided to take a chance. We drove to his shop and dropped off the truck. It's a nice roomy shop with a nice showroom. The good part is that while your truck is getting sprayed you can go to the mall (a really good part if you have the wife and kids with you). David drove us to a really nice mall a couple of miles away. We had lunch and saw a movie. Amazingly enough, after that, the truck was ready. When we came out of the mall the sun was shining and there were very few clouds in the sky. Manuel picked us up and took us back to the shop.
I got the color match Line-X Xtra to match the lower accent color on my truck (Pueblo Gold). When we pulled it out into the sun it looked great. The color is as close as you can get considering two different textures (truck panels/bedliner material). They even corrected a problem (read that: ground away) that the original paint had in the bed. I couldn't believe I missed that when I bought the truck. Manuel and Antonio did a great job.
We had to get on the road (330 mile trip) and since the sun was out and I couldn’t see any rain clouds in any direction I decided to take a chance and not cover the bed with plastic. I figured the more sun the better. David did give me a large sheet of plastic and plenty of tape in case I needed later down the road. On the way home we hit a few very minor showers but that was about 2 hours after we left Ft. Worth so I didn’t even cover the bed. We were only in the rain for a grand total of about 10 minutes spread out over a few rain showers.
I forgot to take the before picture of the bed but If you look at any white Screw short bed, that’s what it looked like. I got a picture of the bed this morning but the shadows make it look totally different from the truck color, it’s not. I’ll get better pictures later. Overall a very good experience and if you ever get a chance to go to Ft. Worth, go. The people there are very friendly. If you go up to the north end for the Richard Petty Driving Experience plan to drive to find restaurants. They are very sparse up there since it’s mainly industry and a pretty new developing area. If you opened a Taco Bell you would be a millionaire within months.

I enjoyed meeting you and your family and I appreciate your business.
Manual and Antonio are great. You didn't get to meet Paul, another employee, who was out of town on vacation. They're plenty busy today!: Four trucks, a Jeep (interior and exterior) and a Yukon (exterior).

The price with the color match and XTRA was $644.09 drive out. About $200.00

306Stang & Ameration....thanks for the compliments. I knew I didn't really
want the regular black and a white color match would have shown dirt so I picked the lower accent color of the truck. It looks really good in person. David and his crew did a great job. I went with Line-X because I had one in my Super Duty when I had it and it handled everything I threw at it and still looked great. My neighbor has a Toff spray in bedliner. He got it even though I told him to get Line-X. It's a gray color match over the rails. He's had it about two years and he's had to go back a few times to get rips/gouges repaired and it needs it again. It's stained from rainwater sitting in the bed when we had a real bad rain storm and from other things. It looks like poop. Hey, it's not my truck and I told him. Of course it's a Dodge so.....

He was very nice and helpful to me on here when I was trying to decide which liner to install. Pointed out pros and cons of all of 'em.
Needless to say, I did go with the Line X Xtra colormatch!.. LOL
Could not be happier with it either!
