Bed liner Repair

I have a perma spray spray in liner and I slid in a heavy piece of equipment and it sliced off a chunk of bed liner about the size of a quarter on top of one of the bolts. I wanted it repaired but the guy wanted $100 dollars to do it???? he explained that it still took the same prep as to do the whole bed again---This really sucks!!!!! I can't believe it costs $400 for a spray in liner and $100 to repair something the size of a quarter. Does anyone have an Idea on how to fix this????

If you are looking to seal and waterproof that exposed bolt head, and "almost" match the present bedliner, try some J-B *Industro Weld*, available at any auto store or Lowes or Home Depot for about $5.00 for two small tubes that you mix together.

It drys to a smooth dark gray finish, but you can lighten it up by sanding it with 100-120 grit sandpaper. It seals, bonds, and is pretty tough stuff. It's very good for many other small auto or truck repairs.

I've also had good results in sealing and bonding various cracked or busted plastic electrical connectors and covers in the engine compartment, which in Ford products, seem to get very brittle and crack or shatter after a couple of years.

It sounds like the same product quality as Premium 1 liners. They suck as well. It cracked within the first few months I had it in my F-150. I went to get it redone under there warrenty and they did not cover it. Try Rhinoliner. I had good luck with there product.
